In Memory of Trooper Mark Charbonnier and Ricky Dever Friday, June 6, 2025

Dear Friend:

On Friday, June 6, 2025, the family and friends of Trooper Mark Charbonnier and Ricky Dever will host the annual Trooper Mark Charbonnier and Ricky Dever Memorial Golf Tournament in memory of Mark and Ricky. This golf tournament raises money for scholarships and charitable donations in their memory. Your contributions make it possible for us to give back to the community that they both treasured.

Since the golf tournament's inception in 1995, The Mark Charbonnier Memorial Golf Tournament has raised over $500,000 for educational scholarships and charitable donations in the city and around the State. In 2005 after Ricky Dever's death, we added additional courses in memory of Mark and Ricky, and the tournament grew beyond our expectations. Last year we raised close to $25,000 for the scholarship funds. This is only possible because of thoughtful contributions from people like you.

We plan to continue Mark and Ricky's legacies in the current year by establishing even more perpetual scholarships, from elementary schools to college graduate levels. The funds will also help us continue donating to many more worthwhile causes brought to our attention.

Mark Charbonnier's and Ricky Dever's memories will live on in the people who love them and those who continue to carry on in the tradition of service.

This year our tournament will be looking for Hole Sponsors. Each T Box on the three courses will have our tournament flags proudly displayed with the sponsor's name on them, and flags will be given to the sponsor as a token of our appreciation following the tournament.

We will have 3 categories of whole sponsors to choose from.

Gold Sponsor – $500 A Gold sponsorship will have three tournament flags displayed on each of the 3 courses. Gold Sponsors also will have their company name and logo or individual name placed on a banner at each course and the banquet at Florian Hall. Gold sponsors will also receive a special gift from the tournament committee and the sponsor flags displayed on the courses.

Silver Sponsor- $250 A Silver Sponsorship will have two tournament flags displayed on 2 courses. The sponsor will receive this flag following the tournament

Blue Sponsor- $150 A Blue Sponsor will have a tournament flag displayed on one of our 3 courses. The sponsor will receive this flag following the tournament.
